Rooted Women's Discipleship

"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers." Psalm 1:1-3

Rooted: Women's Discipleship

Biblical literacy for women of all ages.

Rooted focuses on Biblical discipleship through training in reading and applying God's Word.  Have you been discipled?  Do you want to disciple others but don't know where to begin?  Join us for an 8 week training session beginning February 10, 2019-March 31, 2019 for spring.

This ministry focuses on 1)  defining Biblical Discipleship, 2) training women on the gamut of opportunities to teach others how to study the Word  3) prayerfully pairing women to study God's Word and build relationship with the Lord and each other.

To accomplish this, prospective disciplers will read three core books and go through instruction on applying what has been learned. Our goal is to train and equip mature believers within the Colonial family to become Biblical disciple makers. Once trained, the disciplers are  connected with committed disciples through either a one-on-one or a group format. As their foundational relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ grows the bonds between the women are strengthened.
