Chera Connect

“Chera Connection” is a newly formed women’s ministry group for more recent and younger widows at Colonial Baptist Church.  “Chera” is the Greek word used in the Bible for “widow”.  The mission of “Chera Connection” is to come alongside widows in an encouraging Christian community to find lasting comfort in Christ through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer, pointing members to God’s wisdom and love as revealed in His unfailing Word.

A new Fall Bible study will be starting on Thursday evening, September 20th, entitled, “REVEALING THE MYSTERIES OF HEAVEN” by Dr. David Jeremiah!   The group will meet on the 1st & 3rd Thursday evenings every month in group members' homes from 6:30-8:30pm.  This fall study is divided into 11 sessions and each will include a DVD teaching , followed by a time for questions and related group discussion.  The Bible will be our source and it has lots of encouragement that will excite and comfort us.  This is where we will turn for Biblical truth, Biblical answers and eternal hope!
