Women’s Bible Studies
Bible Studies are the core of the Women's Ministry at Colonial. It is our prayer that you will join us in studying the Word of God.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119:105)
There are four opportunities to attend each week September through May. Registration for spring 2019 is open. Cost is approximately $20-40 per year for material.
You have several options to choose from:

Hebrews Part 3 - Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of Our Faith Without faith it is impossible to please God. So what is faith? Where do I get it? And what does it look like lived out in my life? This study of Hebrews 11–13 will answer these questions and more, encouraging you to fix your eyes on Jesus and run with endurance to the finish line.
Jude- Contend for the Faith Problems within the church prompted Jude to preach a strong message about God's judgment of sin. Did you get the message? Learn more about the day of judgment in this timely study.
Homework: 45 minutes/5 days (Spring will be Hebrews part 3 and then Jude)
- Wednesday Morning Study - WOW - Women of Wisdom: Joshua and Ephesians: Victorious Living
Wednesdays / 9:30-11:45am (Childcare available) / September - April / FC 201
“You shall march around the city… This you shall do six days.” (Joshua 6:3) March? Just march? Every battle and every success of Joshua is a testament to God’s faithfulness to keeping His promises to His people. Moses had led Israel up to the border of the Promised Land, but it was his right-hand man and successor, Joshua, who led them in the conquest and settlement. Join us as we, like Joshua, learn to “be strong and courageous,” (Joshua 1:9) for the LORD our God is with us still today. We finish the year with eight weeks in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, where the message of our spiritual blessings in Christ reiterates our call to respond to God the same way Joshua did: victoriously, with faith.
Homework: 2 hours/week (Spring will be finishing Joshua and then Ephesians)
- Wednesday Evening Study - Haggai
Wednesdays / 6:30-8pm / January - April / Room FC 209
Come join us as we study the book of Haggai, the first prophetic voice heard after the Babylonian Exile. Haggai’s message reminds us of the importance of putting God first in our lives. As believers, this study will motivate us to diligently seek the God who loves us and desires communion with us on a daily basis. And we will see how obedience is the key to experience that intimate fellowship.
Homework: 30 minutes/5 days
