T-Ball is a great way to begin to develop the fundamental skills required to be a baseball player. The league is co-ed and while it is intended for children between 5 - 7 years old, we will allow 4 year olds to play if you feel your child would do well enough playing with children older than them. On rare occasions, we will allow older children to play T-Ball in the event the player is at a beginner's level and is okay with playing with mostly younger children. Teams have one practice per week on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings from 6:00pm - 7:15 pm and a game on Saturday. The game times will either be at 9:15 am or 10:30 am (there may possibly be an 11:45 am game depending upon enrollment levels). Practices and games will take place at Colonial. There are no evaluations for this league.
Players will need a glove, sneakers (cleats are optional), and sports pants preferably without pockets. Jerseys, hats, balls, bats, and helmets will be provided. The registration fee is $45.
As you would expect, the success of our T-Ball league is greatly dependent on having parents and others volunteer to help. Please consider being involved as either an Assistant Coach or Head Coach.
Colonial T-Ball leagues are designed to teach and develop a young player's skills while incorporating a positive Christian influence. The league also provides a great opportunity for outreach. You are encouraged to invite your friends and co-workers who do not attend a local church to register their children for the league.
