Our Music Ministries seek to bless the church and honor God through song. Music is the only ministry that you can do both on earth  and in heaven. You don't have to have the voice of an angel to sing in the choir or be an expert musician to play in our orchestra. But, you just might find that you'll get better with practice! We have many opportunities for you to develop your gifts for the glory of God. Consider joining us and serving in one of our choirs, instrumental groups, or sign language ministry.

We have age graded choirs for children and students.  Our Student Ministries Choir consists of students grades 6-12 and we have three levels of Elementary choirs in our Hearts, Hands, and Voices program.  For more information on our choirs, visit the
Information For Vocalists page

In addition to our music ensembles we also offer private lessons from many skilled teachers through the Carolina School of Music. Please visit carolinaschoolofmusic.com for more information. Carolina School of Music exists to raise up a generation “trained and skilled in music for the LORD.” (1 Chron. 25:7). Through quality musical instruction and passionate Christian living, we strive for the exceptional as we expand the ministry of Colonial Baptist Church to our surrounding communities for the glory of Jesus Christ.
