Wisdom for the Heart, the international Bible-teaching ministry based on the sermons of Pastor Stephen Davey, will hold its annual banquet at Colonial on February 9th and 10th. To Know Him . . . and to Make Him Known will serve as this year’s theme for the banquet which will have a distinctive international flair. Pastor Davey will give updates on how God is using Wisdom to:

• Reach the people of Iraq through Arabic language translations
• Reach the people of eastern Africa in their native language, Swahili
• Explore more ways to reach the Spanish-speaking peoples of South America.

Aired around the world in multiple languages on 250 radio stations, the Wisdom ministry remains motivated by a passion for global programming aimed at reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently, broadcasts can be heard in the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. Locally, Wisdom can be heard daily on the Bible Broadcasting Network (BBN) or anytime on widomonline.org.

In Central and South America an estimated 70 million people are being reached, and in March with the addition of broadcasting along Africa’s eastern coast through Trans World Radio, as many as 80 million people who speak Swahili will have access to Pastor Davey’s Bible teaching. In the Middle East, programming can reach much of Iraq, Jerusalem, Kurdistan, Jordan, and Palestine giving an estimated 10 million listeners access to Bible teaching in their own language.
