This year, Colonial has four student interns serving in five ministries. Our interns are learning while serving and gaining real-world experience that will better prepare them for future ministry and careers. Videographer and Communications Intern, Amy Justice, recently interviewed these students. We know you’ll enjoy getting to know them better.

Becca Strider is a rising sophomore at Liberty University studying Worship and Music Ministries; she is interning with Colonial’s Music Ministries. Becca hopes one day to have a family of her own and serve with a church music ministry, arranging music and supporting the ministry with her musical abilities.

Natalie Daratony will be a freshman at North Carolina State University this fall. Natalie is interning with Children’s Ministries where she is learning how to be part of an office environment, preparing for a career as a Christian businesswoman.

Amy Justice is in her third summer as a Colonial intern. She works with the Communications and Tech Departments developing skills she can use in a career as an audio, video and lighting designer/technician. Amy is a rising sophomore at Liberty University, studying Broadcast Communications.

JD Loftis attends The College at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is majoring in Christian Studies and Theology; he will be a junior this fall. JD is interning with Colonial’s Student Ministries and is preparing to serve in youth ministry.
