Spotlight
Paradox—contrary to expectations—the people you meet here are rarely in the Spotlight. Mostly they serve quietly behind the scenes. In each issue of 24/7 we'll feature a few fellow servants, putting them in an unfamiliar place...the Spotlight.

JUSTIN CASE
For almost two years, Justin Case has faithfully delivered the news to the citizens of Colonial Corners. With a vintage style and a flair all his own, he thrives in the spotlight. When asked about his favorite hobby, he simply replied, “Well, I guess I like pondering my own greatness.” It seems fitting to end this like he ends each broadcast. “This has been ‘just-in-case’ you wanted to know all about…Justin Case.”

Marlene

MS. MARLENE
When it comes to hair, Marlene’s Hair World is your one-stop shop for all your beauty needs. She’ll likely greet you with a big smile and a “Welcome to Marlene’s Hair World, Honey.” You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone in Colonial Corners who has a bad word to say about the kind and gracious Ms. Marlene.

Sly

SYLVESTER BLACKHEART
The appropriately named “Sly” Blackheart is a bit of a mystery to those who know him. With a grin and charming southern accent, he indicated that his primary interest in life is “accumulating as much money and power as I can, by any means I can.” As the owner of the Corners Café, he’s on his way.

Sherriff

SHERIFF BOOKUM
In Colonial Corners, justice has a name, and that name is Sheriff Bookum. Elected nearly five years ago, he has kept the peace in Corners with integrity. You’ll always find Sheriff Bookum in uniform and ready for duty. But, one thing you won’t find is a gun or a nightstick. “Things are pretty calm in Corners. I’ve just never seen the need to be armed.” We’ve found, in Sheriff Bookum, our modern-day Andy Griffith.
