I grew up on a farm in central Ohio but have moved several times in my life, most of which have been during our time serving with TWR. We came to Cary to serve in TWR’s International office here.
I am married to Cathy for 25 years and have four children: Bethany, (red-headed violinist in the orchestra), Tyler, (a junior at VMI), Kirk, (plays cello and clarinet in the orchestra), and Brenna, (a junior in homeschool high school and member of Singing Waiters).
I accepted Christ as my savior on March 6, 1970 during a revival service when I realized that I was a sinner and would spend eternity apart from God without the saving power of Jesus. My strong Christian parents and siblings were a great encouragement to me through my growing years.
We have been attending Colonial since Romans 8 or so, (April 2006). We have been involved with Student Ministries, Christmas Sweets, Hand Bells and I am currently helping teach the New Seasons ABF class.
My favorite scripture is Phil 2:3 “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself.”
