Peter Valentine grew up in the Washington, DC area (VA, DC, and MD). He moved to Cary after marrying April (Rehbein) Valentine in December 2008.
They have adult children living in several different states, and a total of 17 grandchildren.
He is retired from both the retail and technology industries.
Peter was born again in 1968 as a 25-year-old living in Forestville, MD; he immediately joined a Baptist church where he was baptized. He served as a deacon for 15 years at his last church in MD.
He has been attending Colonial since 2008 and is involved in the Lifespring ABF where he is privileged to substitute occasionally for teacher, Doug Johnson. He is also a part of the Colonial Outdoors Ministries which includes various outdoor activities, service projects, and Bible studies.
His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
