Duane Tester is originally from North Carolina. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was involved with the Baptist Student Union.
Duane and Laurie were married in 1990 and moved to Cary a few years later. They were both blessed to have grown up with parents who taught them to love the Lord. They have three children.
They began attending Colonial in 1995 and have been involved in many different ministries. Duane has been involved in Men’s Ministry, AWANA, Colonial Corner’s and Student Ministries. Laurie has been involved in Women’s Ministry, AWANA, Children’s Ministry, Medical Response Team and Student Ministries.
