Ed married Carolyn Miller, the love of his life, in May, 1967. As a service family they moved frequently. They have two kids, Cindy (born in Belton, MO) and Brian (born in Seattle, WA). Cindy married a great guy named Kent Olsen and they have three kids: Caitlin, Aaron, and Faith. The Olsens live in Wheaton, IL. Brian married Melody McDonald, a terrific lady, who gave us two grandkids: Alex and A.J. The Brian Gelb family lives in The Woodlands (Houston area), TX.
Ed came to Christ early in 1968 after a period of searching. Since then he has grown in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and has served Him as a deacon in two other churches, church moderator, and church chairman. Ed has also led and taught Bible studies.
He and Carolyn have been attending Colonial since July 2002. In addition to serving as a deacon, he has served as a substitute teacher in the LifeSpring ABF, and he and Carolyn are volunteers for Wisdom for the Heart.
