Raymond Blackman and his wife of over fifty years, Barbara, are blessed with four children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Raymond believes his sole purpose in life is to bring glory and honor to his Heavenly Father. He describes his life in Christ as one of peace (Romans 5:2 and Romans 8:15-16) and says that his peace in new life continues to grow (Philippians 4:6-9).
The Blackmans have attended Colonial since 2006. They serve together as greeters before the 8:00am worship service and also host and hostess after morning worship and evening services.
Raymond would encourage you to read Romans 8, a book that he describes as containing his testimony—so much so that he took the time to memorize the entire chapter a number of years ago.
